Ureteral reimplantation is a surgical procedure to correct abnormalities or disorders of the ureters, the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder. This procedure is commonly used to treat ureterovesical junction (UVJ) obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux (VUR), ureteral strictures, and other ureteral diseases.
